Its very common to read questions like this on the web:
I understand that volume, in most cases, is determined by hardware. But certain programs (ex. iTunes) allow you to boost the volume on audio tracks and the like. Is there a standalone Windows program that can increase the volume output on my laptop by, say, 100% like iTunes does it for audio tracks?
Or this one:
The sound o/p on my windows is quite loud…. so i would like to know if there exists a possible way to increase sound output!!! thanks!!
Help: need to increase volume in MP3 files for external player at Software forum; I recently bought a RioVolt SP90 CD/MP3 player. I mainly bought it for work. Well, in actual work use, none of the mp3′s play loud enough. It’s barely loud enough riding the bus actually, and this is in comparision to my Sony Portable CD player I had been using.
and then turn around and have a song that is very loud at only 28
Is there any such program that will INCREASE volume??
A while ago a created some mp3 files encoded at a bitrate of 128kbps, which sound ok but the volume could be better. Does anyone know any programs that can increase the volume without having to recode them?
